As soon as we headed towrds the western side of the river we saw a smal mob carrying saffron flags in their hands just over the bridge. They were shouting slogans in support of Ram Janm Bhumi. We avoided that and reached twords temple line along side the small stream of river 'Ram ki Paudi'.
Ami was determined to enter inside the temples and take some photographs. There is a very famous Shiva Temple which is famous as Nageshwar Nath.We decided to enter inside the temple and soon I discovered that Ami had reached on the roof top, some how after having a chat with Pujari of the temple. I followed her and moving on narrow, dark stairs I too soon found myself on roof top.
Sun has emerged out above the surface of river and its rays were touching and entering inside the curls of the water waves. Ami took almost hundreds of photographs of river, the rising sun and temple bylanes and houses in and around the bylanes alongside the ghats.
It was the time when most of the temples had started 'Subah ki Aarti' ,(worshiping the lords and making him awake). We participated in 'Subah ki Aarti' and sat down on the bank for a while to plan next course of action.
Ami was insisting to get inside some houses and to talk with the members of families so we may get a clearer idea on what exacltly they thought about Ram Temple issue. I was not sure about this to enter in the houses at such an early stage of the day.
But then,we ended up in deciding to get inside atleast couple of houses or rather inbuilt houses inside the temples.
We selected one rather small temple in which a family of six people were living. The male and female members and their two sons, one daughter and a new born son. We talked to them as we noticed that they were least interested in any kind of debate on Ram Temple issue as they believed that there can be no argument to the fact that Ram was born in Ayodhya and the place belongs to Hindus. As we kept talking to the male member Ami went inside the house and perhaps tried to mix up with the mother of new born. As I got to know later that mother was breastfeeding her new born son and Ami insisted to take photoes of mother feeding new born.
It was 07:30 A.M, and we required to go back our places to refresh ourselves and then to get back to work again at 10:00 A.M.,we headed for our destinations.
To be continued................... In the bylanes of Ayodhya and the The School which was abandoned due to fear of riots.
